Silicone Splice and Platers Tape
Silicone Splice and Platers Tape is a single-coated high-tack silicone adhesive tape constructed with a 1.50 mil silicone adhesive on a 1.00 mil blue polyester carrier, for a total thickness of 2.50 mils. The controlled level of crosslinking in the adhesive provides a balance of substrate adhesion with chemical and temperature resistance, supporting service from −60°F to 350°F. Peel adhesion is 36 oz/in with 168 hours of shear hold at 2.2 psi, plus fine-line definition and clean residue-free removal — making it suitable for flash breaker, powder coating masking, and high-temperature splicing of silicone-coated materials.
