PTFE film and coated fiberglass are the materials of choice when chemical inertness, non-stick release surfaces, or high-temperature dielectric liners are required and no other polymer system can meet the combined chemical and thermal exposure. Virgin skived PTFE film delivers near-universal chemical resistance with a continuous service rating to 260°C and a dielectric strength suitable for barrier and liner applications; PTFE-coated fiberglass extends that performance into structural woven fabric for fire sleeve facings and composite release surfaces. 6113-05 Virgin, Skived PTFE
6113-05 is a single-coated thin-gauge PTFE film tape constructed with a 0.005" virgin skived PTFE substrate and 0.002" of acrylic adhesive, for a 0.007" total nominal thickness. The thin PTFE gauge produces high elongation and conformability for wire-wrap and insulation applications, with 13,500 volts dielectric strength supporting use as a high-voltage electrical insulation tape. Peel adhesion is 50 oz/in of width. Operating temperature spans −40°F to 350°F continuous.

6113-10 PTFE Film Tape
6113-10 is a single-coated PTFE film tape constructed with a 0.010" skived virgin PTFE film carrier and 0.002" of acrylic adhesive, for a 0.012" total nominal thickness. The skived virgin PTFE provides a very low coefficient of friction with chemical resistance and conformability, supporting applications including wear stripping, lining, chemical-resistant surface protection, and shrink wrap thermal tape. Peel adhesion is 70 oz typical (55 oz minimum) per ASTM D3330 Method A. Operating temperature range is −40°F to 350°F.

DeWAL® DW2000
DeWAL® DW2000 is an unsupported skived polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film manufactured by Rogers Corporation, supplied to close tolerance on width and thickness across a 0.0005" to 0.040" thickness range. The film conforms to ASTM D3308 Type II and SAE AMS 3662C, and is Food Grade compliant under FDA 21 CFR 177.1550. Performance includes 260°C (500°F) maximum operating temperature, 2,598 V/mil typical dielectric strength per ASTM D149, 46 MPa (6,727 psi) tensile strength, and 390% elongation per ASTM D882. Maximum supplied width is 1,270 mm (50 inches).
