EPDM Foam
EPDM foam is the material of choice when outdoor exposure, UV and ozone resistance, or curtain wall and transit sealing demand a foam that holds its compression set through years of weathering. Its ethylene-propylene-diene chemistry provides outstanding resistance to UV, ozone, steam, and dilute acids without surface degradation, spanning service temperatures from -65°F to 250°F. H-O Products carries closed-cell EPDM foam from general-purpose standard grades to premium RE-Series for curtain wall and transit applications, and converts them to customer specification.

70 Shore A General Purpose Solid Silicone
BISCO® HT-1270 is a 70 ±5 Shore A solid silicone elastomer engineered for applications requiring maximum firmness and reduced material deflection under sustained compression and elevated temperature exposure. Rated from −80°F to 425°F, HT-1270 maintains ≤25% compression set after 70 hours at 302°F, supporting reliable sealing performance in high-load environments.Key Properties

RE41E Foam
RE41E is a soft, closed-cell EPDM and Neoprene blend foam with a compression deflection of 2–5 psi at 25% per ASTM D1056 and a density of 4–8 lb/ft³, available in four thicknesses from 1/16" to 1/4". The material has a service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F, passes FMVSS-302 at .098" or thicker, and is classified ASTM D1056 2A1 and ASTM D6576 Type II A, B, C Soft. It is designed for ease of compression in garage door, tonneau cover, HVAC/duct, and exterior mailbox sealing applications.

The material has a service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F, passes FMVSS-302 at .098" or thicker, and is classified ASTM D1056-07 2A2 and ASTM D6576-07 Type II A, B, C Soft/Medium. It carries MIL-R-6130C II-A Soft/Medium and MIL-C-3133C MIL STD 670B (RE7) designations.

It carries MIL-R-6130C II-A Medium and MIL-C-3133C MIL STD 670B (RE11) designations.

The material has a service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F, passes FMVSS-302 at .068" or thicker, and is classified ASTM D1056-07 2A5 and ASTM D6576-07 Type II A, B, C Firm. It carries MIL-R-6130C II-B Firm and MIL-C-3133C MIL STD 670B (RE20) designations and is described as the maximum firmness grade in the series.
