Vinyl Nitrile Foam
Vinyl nitrile foam is the material of choice when oil resistance, fuel splash exposure, or abrasion in industrial sealing and vibration isolation applications rules out less chemically resistant closed-cell foams. Its vinyl-nitrile chemistry combines the closed-cell structure of PVC with the oil and fuel resistance of nitrile rubber, providing a durable, compressible seal in engine bays, industrial panels, and thermal insulation applications. SBE41VN
SBE41VN is a soft, conformable closed-cell vinyl nitrile foam composed of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), with a compression deflection of 2–5 psi at 25% per ASTM D1056 and a density of 4–8 lb/ft³, available in ten thicknesses from 1/16" to 1". The material has a service temperature range of -20°F to 160°F, passes FMVSS-302 for flame compliance, and is classified ASTM D1056-07 2B1.

The material has a service temperature range of -20°F to 160°F, passes FMVSS-302, is Listed under UL 94 HF-1, and is classified ASTM D1056-07 2B2.

EnsoLite® EF0
EnsoLite® EF0 is a super soft, crushed, semi-closed cell EPDM foam produced in continuous roll form with a density of 4.37–6.24 lb/ft³ (70–100 kg/m³) and an ASTM D 1056 1A0 designation (with an exception to elevated temperature compression set at 70°C / 158°F). The material is engineered for space filling and sealing against air, dust, heat, and noise, with an operating range of -75°C (-103°F) minimum to 121°C (250°F) intermittent maximum. EF0 meets multiple automotive OEM specifications and passes FMVSS 302 burn rate testing at 0.125 in (3.18 mm) and higher.
