FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer)

Perfluoroelastomer is the material of choice when FKM/Viton® has already been evaluated and rejected — when pharmaceutical bioprocessing, semiconductor-adjacent defense electronics, or aerospace propulsion systems demand near-universal chemical resistance combined with elastomeric sealing behavior at temperatures above 300°C. Its fully perfluorinated polymer backbone provides resistance to virtually all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive solvents, and carries the qualification credentials — USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR, ISO 10993, AMS7257 — required across medical, biopharma, and aerospace applications.
