Hydrogenated nitrile rubber is the material of choice when standard NBR’s heat and ozone resistance are insufficient for aerospace hydraulic seals, high-temperature fuel system components, or demanding industrial gasketing that sees both oil exposure and elevated operating temperatures. Its hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene chemistry delivers significantly improved heat resistance to 325°F and ozone resistance over standard nitrile, while retaining the oil and fuel resistance that makes the NBR family the default for hydrocarbon-exposed sealing. The compound delivers 2031 psi tensile strength and 250% ultimate elongation across an operating range of -58°F to +275°F.
