Aerogel Insulation

Aerogel insulation is the material of choice when thermal conductivity must be minimized at the thinnest possible cross-section — in industrial pipe lagging, aerospace engine bays, cryogenic LNG equipment, and electronics thermal management where conventional blanket insulation cannot achieve the required thermal resistance within the available space envelope. Aerogel blanket and film products achieve thermal conductivities as low as 0.015 W/m·K, far below mineral wool and foam alternatives, with rated service temperatures ranging from cryogenic applications through 650°C for high-temperature industrial grades. H-O Products carries the full range of aerogel insulation families, from Pyrogel® XTE high-temperature industrial and Cryogel® Z cryogenic blankets through ArmaGel® building and rail grades, SLENTEX® mineral aerogel, AEROLITE rigid sheet, and AeroZero™ thin polymer film, and converts them to customer specification.
