TIM Pads & Films (Rogers / Arlon)
Thermally conductive interface pads and adhesive films are the material of choice when power electronics and heat sink assemblies require a material that simultaneously transfers heat and provides electrical isolation between component and chassis — conditions where bare graphite cannot be used. Silicone-based Protect™ TIM pads and Secure™ adhesive films deliver thermal conductivities from 1.5 to over 3.0 W/m·K with dielectric isolation suited to module-to-heatsink and heat-spreader bonding applications in power conversion and RF electronics. H-O Products carries the Protect™ and Secure™ series TIM pads and adhesive films from Rogers and Arlon, and converts them to customer specification.
Protect® 1500FG
Arlon Protect 1500FG is a fiberglass-supported cured silicone rubber insulator sheet engineered for LED and power applications, delivering 1.5 W/m·K thermal conductivity and > 19 kV/mm dielectric strength. The construction is offered at 7 – 20 mils (0.18 – 0.51 mm) thickness with thermal impedance of 1.9 × 10⁻⁴ m²·K/W at 40 PSI across an operating range of -100°C to +204°C. UL listed (QMFZ2.E54153) with a UL 94 V-0 flame rating, RTI 150°C/150°C, RoHS compliant, and free of halogenated flame retardants.

Secure® 1500 KT2
Secure 1500 KT2 is a double-sided thermal interface adhesive featuring thermally conductive uncured silicone on both sides of a Kapton MT substrate, with a thermal conductivity of 1.5 W/°C·m at 100°C and a dielectric strength of 53.1 kV/mm. The 0.191 mm overall construction delivers the lowest thermal impedance in the Secure family at 0.29 °C·in²/W at 380 psi across an operating range of -101°C to +204°C. UL listed (E54153) with a UL 94 V-0 flame rating and RTI 150°C/150°C for both mechanical and electrical applications.

Secure 48A51R009 is a double-sided thermal interface adhesive featuring thermally conductive uncured silicone on both sides of a Style 1080 Fiberglass substrate, with a thermal conductivity of 1.5 W/°C·m at 100°C and a dielectric strength of 42.7 kV/mm. The 0.229 mm overall construction is the thinner of the Style 1080 Fiberglass Secure options, delivering thermal impedance of 0.40 °C·in²/W at 380 psi across an operating range of -101°C to +204°C.
