ArmaFlex® Coil
ArmaFlex Coil is a flexible, closed-cell elastomeric foam pipe insulation supplied in continuous-length coils, with a declared thermal conductivity (λd) of ≤0.036 W/(m·K) at 75°F (24°C) mean temperature. It is rated for continuous service from -183°C to 105°C (-297°F to 220°F) and carries a 25/50 flame spread/smoke developed rating per ASTM E84. Manufactured without CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, PBDEs, or formaldehyde, it is fiber free, dust free, and resists mold and mildew growth.

A specially formulated lubricating powder reduces friction so the tubing slides onto pipe more easily and quickly, and relaxed I.D. tolerances allow it to accommodate elbows and fittings. It installs with simple hand tools and is compatible with ArmaFlex 520, ArmaFlex 520 Black, or, where a low-VOC adhesive is required, ArmaFlex 520 BLV Adhesive. The material also demonstrates good UV resistance and good resistance to ozone (ASTM D1149), and it is manufactured without CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, PBDEs, or formaldehyde.
