It is designed for a broad range of applications including plastic extrusion bonding, window glazing, wire raceways, wire mounts, trim and SDL (muntin bar) attachment, cushioning, and vibration damping. It can be used as a primary or secondary sealant in conjunction with a bead or caulking compound, and requires no curing or edge trimming after application.
The double-sided permanent acrylic adhesive system is specifically described as high peel/high shear and delivers a peel adhesion of 75 oz/in and shear adhesion exceeding 24 hours at 2.2 psi. Tack is 26 oz per ASTM D2979. Tensile strength is 113 lb/in per PSTC-131 and elongation is 228%.
