GORE® Protective Vents for Gearboxes (part number PMF100570) are compact tube-mount ePTFE membrane vent components with an integrated non-woven textile pre-filter, designed to provide pressure equalization and ingress protection for electrified and traditional gearbox components. The vent delivers minimum airflow of 200 ml/min at 12 mbar and Water Entry Pressure (assembly) of > 345 mbar (> 5.0 psi) for 60 seconds, with Ingress Protection ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69K. Operating temperature range is -40 °C to +125 °C. The membrane is hydrophobic and oleophobic GORE ePTFE.

The vent housing body is PA6.6–GF33 with a PA6.6 Impact modified cap. Overall dimensions are Ø 26.5 mm outer diameter, 34.0 mm height, with a base diameter of Ø 9.5 mm and a body height of 6.8 mm.
