H-O Mount ⅛” is a closed cell, crosslinked polyethylene foam coated on both sides with a high performance rubber-based permanent adhesive and a white kraft liner, available in a single thickness of 1/8″. Peel adhesion is 95 oz/in per PSTC-101 (foam destruction) with a maximum continuous use temperature of 155°F. The tape features high immediate bond, great chemical resistance, and best conformability in the H-O Mount series, suited to gasketing, gap filling, cushioning, and mounting applications.

H-O Mount ⅛” is the thickest grade in H-O Products’ H-O Mount double-sided mounting tape series, with a crosslinked polyethylene foam carrier at 1/8″ total thickness. It is designed for gasketing, gap filling, cushioning, and vibration damping, as well as general mounting of mirrors, hardware components, point of purchase displays, and consumer accessories, and for replacing fasteners across a broad range of applications.
The application set differs from the thinner grades — the 1008 is focused on gasketing and gap filling rather than plastic extrusion, signage, and wire raceway applications.
Tensile strength is 228 lb/in per PSTC-131 — the highest in the H-O Mount series — and elongation is 269% per PSTC-131. The tape is described as providing the best conformability in the series, supported by its thicker foam carrier. Tack is 28 oz per ASTM D2979. The tape offers great chemical resistance, low compression set, and is easily die-cut. The minimum application temperature is 50°F.
Maximum continuous use temperature is 155°F and maximum short term exposure is 203°F — these limits are governed by the polyolefin foam substrate; the pressure sensitive adhesive will perform at temperatures higher than those listed.
