At a 25% Compression Deflection of 5 psi, it is suited for low-to-moderate sealing force applications where conformability and thermoformability are priorities.
The foam achieves a compression set of 1.7% per ASTM D1056 and 32% resilience per ASTM D2632, supporting good shape recovery and moderate energy return after deflection. Tensile strength of 70 psi and elongation of 145% provide adequate fabrication performance for converted component applications. The material accepts laminations, fabrics, films, and custom coatings.
