NB1C Acrylic Adhesive

NB1C Acrylic Adhesive is a scrim-reinforced single-sided acrylic transfer tape built on a polyester scrim carrier with a solvent-free acrylic dispersion adhesive, delivered on a white paper liner. Total thickness without liner is 0.07–0.09 mm. Peel adhesion reaches 24 N/25mm on steel at 24-hour dwell and 23 N/25mm on glass — the highest peel values in the Netbond series. Shear adhesion failure temperature is 248°F with a temperature resistance range of −22°F to 248°F.

    • Laminating and bonding of metal, wood, and foam components requiring high peel adhesion
    • Adhesive lamination of plastics and paper substrates in general industrial converting
    • Scrim-reinforced bonding on polar substrates including glass, steel, and powder-coated aluminum
    • Die-cut adhesive component fabrication where dimensional stability is required
    • Graphic lamination and industrial bonding where aggressive peel adhesion is the primary requirement

Common industries: Industrial manufacturing, paper converting, graphic arts, foam converting, general assembly.

NB1C Acrylic Adhesive is a scrim-reinforced acrylic transfer tape designed for laminating and bonding across diverse substrates including metal, wood, foam, plastics, and paper. At 0.07–0.09 mm total thickness, it sits between the thin NB10 and thicker NB1B in profile, combining the dimensional stability of the polyester scrim carrier with a solvent-free acrylic dispersion adhesive offering balanced initial tack.

Peel adhesion values are the highest in the Netbond family: 20 N/25mm initial / 24 N/25mm at 24-hour dwell on steel, and 20 N/25mm initial / 23 N/25mm at 24-hour dwell on glass. A second set of peel tests reports additional values including 18 N/25mm on powder-coated aluminum and 5 N/25mm on polypropylene — the latter confirming the adhesive is optimized for polar substrates rather than low surface energy materials.

Shear adhesion failure temperature is 248°F, and static shear is 500 g/2mm after 1 hour. Aging resistance is rated High and tack is rated High; condensation water resistance is rated Limited — a key distinction from NB10 and NB1B, both of which carry High ratings on that property. Recommended processing temperature is 50°F to 86°F.
