Made from .030 translucent silicone with or without dual adhesive strips. These silicone gaskets are designed to facilitate field installation of stack joints/”chicken head” areas in a curtain wall. Made with (optional) adhesive strips, this eliminates the need for tricky and messy application of silicone caulk prior to applying the silicone boot, so that boot can be applied quickly in the field, without the boot slipping around during assembly. The silicone caulk can then be applied after the stack joint is assembled for a final, primary seal. Silicone boots can be configured in any shape to suit a specific stack joint configuration.
