FAQs

What is this 60 Durometer Electrically Conductive Solid Silicone Tape used for?
This tape is used for EMI/RFI shielding, ESD protection and conductive sealing in electronic enclosures, control modules, battery housings and OEM systems that require both conductivity and environmental sealing.

How conductive is the material?
The conductive silicone formulation offers a low impedance path (low ohm-cm volume resistivity), enabling effective control of static and electromagnetic interference in assemblies.

What temperature extremes can it handle?
It performs across a wide range from roughly –99 °F up to +450 °F, while retaining mechanical and conductive performance, making it suited for harsh thermal environments.

Can this tape be custom cut or supplied with adhesive backing?
Yes, it can be supplied in various formats including die-cut gaskets, sheets, rolls or adhesive-backed tape to suit application and assembly requirements.

Is this material durable in outdoor or industrial environments?
Yes — it features excellent resistance to UV, ozone, weathering and many industrial fluids, making it durable for both indoor and outdoor conductor-sealing applications.
