Product Overview
BISCO® 7330 – Firm Flame-Resistant Silicone Sponge
Product Overview
BISCO 7330 is a firm-grade closed-cell silicone sponge offering high compression resistance, excellent sealing strength, and superior flame retardancy. It’s engineered for heavy-duty gasketing, vibration isolation, and enclosure sealing under demanding conditions.
Applications
Used in aerospace, defense, rail, and industrial enclosures where strong mechanical resilience, flame protection, and long-term sealing are critical.
Performance Advantages
7330 withstands high closure forces, resists compression set, and maintains sealing from –67 °F to +400 °F. It meets UL 94 V-0, HF-1, and FMVSS 302 standards.
Key Properties
Density ≈ 30 lb/ft³; compression deflection ≈ 20 psi (25 % strain); compression set ≈ 3 %; UV and ozone resistant; temperature range –67 °F to +400 °F.
FAQs
What is BISCO 7330?
