kSil® V-0 Soft-Medium Flame-Resistant Silicone Sponge is a closed-cell silicone sponge engineered for applications requiring UL 94 V-0 flame resistance, controlled compression, and reliable sealing performance across extreme temperature environments.
Positioned between the Soft and Medium grades, this Soft-Medium density delivers an ideal balance of compressibility, resilience, and structural support, making it suitable for sealing applications where low-to-moderate closure force is available, but additional firmness is necessary for dimensional stability.
Its closed-cell structure ensures excellent water resistance, UV/ozone durability, and long-term compression set resistance—making it highly effective for electronics, lighting, transportation, EV battery systems, and industrial fire-protection assemblies.
